Member Policies

We are committed to ensuring a positive, diverse and professional environment, where all members treat one another with dignity and respect.

We will not tolerate any form of negative behavior, especially involving differences of opinion by members of the PAC.

We pledge to be free of closed mindedness, and to remain open to new approaches, perspectives and experiences.

We distinguish ourselves from others by embracing different ideals and views of social issues, while always maintaining our conservative political values.

We will remain a cohesive group, discussing issues in a courteous and civilized manner, in a controlled environment.

Members not conducting themselves according to this Code of Conduct, will be brought forward to the Board, with the Board discussing the issue at hand, and the possible outcome of revoking the privilege of being a member of this PAC, by vote.

B.  Endorsement Policy

For the purposes of this policy, a political “Endorsement” is defined as an act of giving one’s public approval or financial support.  A “Candidate” refers to any political candidate seeking public office.

We are an issues-based PAC working to promote tolerance and inclusion within the Republican Party with the aim of engaging Millennial and Gen Z voters. It’s our policy not to endorse candidates running for public office.

C.  Member Engagement Policy

1)   MODPAC Members may personally endorse any candidate they wish.

2)  MODPAC Members may make a personal contribution to any candidate they wish.

3)  MODPAC Members may attend any political event and wear MODPAC gear provided the admission ticket is not paid directly to a candidate’s campaign.

4)  MODPAC Members may work for any candidate’s campaign; provided they do not associate the MODPAC brand with the candidate (MODPAC stickers, name tags, etc. should not be worn while working on the campaign).

5)  MODPAC Members may attend fundraisers for any candidate they wish to support; provided they do not associate the MODPAC brand with the candidate (MODPAC stickers, name tags, etc. should not be worn during the fundraising event).

6)  MODPAC Members may attend meet-and-greets for any candidate they wish. Generally a meet-and-greet does not require an admission ticket. In those cases, the MODPAC Member may wear branded gear. HOWEVER, if the MODPAC Member wears branded gear and decides they would like to support the candidate, they should not make a personal contribution at the event while wearing branded gear. The MODPAC Member should wait until they get home to mail a check or make a contribution online.

7)  MODPAC Members may wear branded gear to official Republican Party meetings (City / County Committee, State Central, etc.) but should refrain from wearing branded gear at meetings where candidates will be endorsed.
